The women of St. Stephen's are committed throughout the year to providing fellowship, raising funds for the church, and providing parish and community outreach. Some of our recent outreach projects include knitted and crocheted sweaters which were donated to the poor, and knitted and crocheted prayer shawls for use by the rector when visiting the infirm of our parish.
From our Spring Flea Market in May to our famous Christmas Bazaar in November (for which our Crafts Group works all year making handmade creations to sell) we are one hard-working group of ladies!
Our meetings, which are held several times a year beginning at 11:30 a.m. in our Parish Hall, start out with us enjoying a delicious brunch (all who attend are asked to bring a covered dish with brunch-appropriate food to share). We spend the meal time chatting and reviewing the Minutes from the previous meeting. The business portion of the meeting is quick and to the point and we are usually well on our way home by 1:00 p.m.
